Another month, another Little Life Box (or Petite Boîte à Vie). This is definitely one of my favorite subscriptions, not only because it’s Canadian, but also because it’s a good value for my money and because I get to try so many things that I would never have tried otherwise living in a small town.
Monthly subscriptions start as low as 19.95$ a month and shipping is 4.95$ to any province in Canada. I’ve had a month-to-month subscription for a few months and have no plans to cancel anytime soon.
They offer two different box options as you can read from the blurb off of their website:
Original: The original blend of healthy alternative products for those who aren’t strict vegans or Gluten Intolerant
Vegan: We fill your box with great quality products we think you’ll love, that to the best of our knowledge meet the highest of Vegan standards.
The image below is from their website and shows how and when it ships monthly.
For each of the items included in the box, I will include a product description with the size as well as the value based on my research. Also, if it’s on the Little Life box site, I will link to the product page. And of course, if I have tried the product, I will include my thoughts.
Now, without further ado, let’s get to the unboxing.
These are GMO free chip like things that are actually made out of bread. The bag I received was sour cream and onion. It had a bit of flavor, but it wasn’t enough for me. I like really flavorful chips.
Urban Spa The tough nut facial buffer
This is a sponge made out of walnuts. It’s supposed to be used on the face to buff away dead skin cells, but can actually be used on any part of the body. It’s biodegradable and vegan.
Feast Nutty Cranberry Bar
This is a bar made with treenuts (no peanuts!) with cranberry, blackberry and strawberry. It contains ingredients such as agave syrup, quinoa seeds, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds. It’s gluten free, vegan, and kosher.
Duckish Natural Skin Care Lotion Stick
This is shea lotion in a stick. Which is kind of cool because it’ll make application a lot easier. It’s unscented.
This is a sleep aid formula made with natural herbal extracts. It uses traditional chinese medicine to help you fall asleep and regain a natural sleep cycle. Take 1-2 tablets 1-2 hour before bed.
Size: 6 tablets
Land Art Cal-Mag Ionic Liquid
This is a calcium and magnesium supplement to help in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth. It helps to maintain proper muscle function. It also has vitamins D and E.
These are chocolates with probiotics inside. I received two different flavors– orange and regular. I won’t eat the orange, but will try the regular. These are made with non GMO ingredients and is gluten and nut free.
Size: 2 x 98g
This is actually a diet product. I’ve seen this before in the back pages of magazines. It’s all natural and is low glycemic. These two packets actually equal one serving. It can be added to water, juice or to a smoothie.
This is a breakfast cereal that is vegan, paleo and gluten and lactose free. This granola contains cinnamon and berries.
This is a pH balancing cleaner/toner. It is paraben, alcohol and oil free. It contains natural plant extracts. I actually received these sometime over the last year in this subscription.
Size: 2 x 5 ml
This box is 24.90$ a month including shipping on a month to month subscription. This month the value I received was roughly 49$, with a large chunk of that coming from the probiotic chocolate. This month was a good value. If you are thinking about signing up, I’d love it if you used my referral link. I truly think it’s a great box and I’d love to see more people taking advantage of it.
