Memebox Boxing Day Special #5

Disclaimer: The product prices, description and how to use are sourced from the Memebox website here. This series of boxes did not have a normal product card, likely because they were shipped out fairly quickly.

Since a lot of these products are new to me, I’ve done a bit of research to find out a bit more about them. Some of the images and information were found deep within the internet. And some of these products, I just couldn’t find anywhere.

1. PUREDERM Yogurt Wash-Off Pack 15ea

Product Description
A wash-off type pack made from yogurt extracts, collagen, Vitamin E, and various fruit extracts. The kiwi pack helps control excess level of dead skin cells while the strawberry pack helps balance out excess sebum and oil, both effective for maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion.

How to use
Spread the pack evenly over clean face and gently massage. Wash off with lukewarm water after 5~10 minutes.

My impressions:

I only had the one opportunity to try this, but I do like it. I used it while having to wait to a put in and wait hair treatment.  It’s still a bit weird, the idea of putting yogurt like substances on my face. Strawberry is good for skin purifying and preventing pimples. Both of which  are great things. I appreciate that these come in single use packets as that means they are easy to bring along when you travel or need to go somewhere overnight.

2. ECHOICE Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub 110g

Product Description

How to use
Use a body towel or your hands to lather the body wash enough to create bubbles, and then massage gently onto your body. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

My impressions:

This seems like a solid body scrub. I’ve used it once and it seems ok. It has lots of little scrubbies inside. (check out the photo below) It smells ok, but I can’t really put my finger on what that may be. Regardless, this will get used.

3. DR.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ 10g

Product Description
Normal cushion BBs, when applied multiple times over and over, usually end up ruining the initial dewy look that you started with in the morning. However, Dr.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion is closer to a skin care formula than a simple BB, because it’s packed with rich nutrients from snail filtrates and various moisturizing agents for adding more radiance and glow to the skin with multiple applications. How to use
At the very end of skin care routine, use the provided air puff to apply the formula evenly over face, dabbing it on several times for optimal adherence. Re-apply as often as necessary.

My impressions:

I’ve tried this out and seems like it will work well with my skin tone. It covers things well and feels surprisingly light. I’ve never used a cushion before, so this is a new experience.  I’m not really one to wear full make up. Most days I just put on some powder and mascara and call it a day.

4. AHC Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack 80ml

How to use
Spread evenly over clean face as the last step to your daily skin care routine. Go straight to bed after 10 minutes without rinsing it off.

My impressions:

I haven’t had the chance to try this out, other than on my hand as I have another sleeping pack to use up first.  Just trying it out on my hand, it seemed quite moisturizing and I think it will work quite well when I do use it. This does contain alcohol, which can either be good or bad, depending on your skin. AHC is a brand that has been appearing in Memeboxes quite a bit recently. Research tells me that this company and Shara Shara are owned by the same bigger company, so this may be why.

5. MSTAR Malus Intensive Hair Treatment 30g

Product Description
Enriched with pure apple extracts, ceramide, panthenol, and 40 different kinds of naturally-derived ingredients, the Malus Intensive Hair Treatment delivers rich nutrition and moisture deep into dry, damaged hair, resulting in firmer, glossier hair ends and healthier scalp as well.

How to use
Towel dry after shampooing and apply the treatment in throughout hair using a brush or hands. It is also recommended to wear a hair cap and rest for 10~15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and blow dry.

My impressions:

I am so, so, so happy to get this! I actually just polished off my original sample of this product and I really like it. My hair responds well to it and can use the moisture boost with this crazy thing we call winter happening. It smells good, it works well and it makes me a happy camper.

Overall Impression:

I paid 29,99$ for this box and received a Memebox value of 93$. As I say with all Memeboxes, you can likely find this products cheaper on sites like Tester Korea, RoseRoseShop or even Ebay. I think it was a decent box and I plan on using all of the products. As I said above, I was especially glad to get more of the hair treatment. Also, the yogurt mask was why I caved and bought the box. Their value was high enough for me to rationalize the purchase.
